i currently have a wardobe which every time i open the doors the light comes on.I am looking at putting some sliderobe doors from wall to wall.So i need to take the old doors off the wardrobe my question is does that mean the light will be on constantly do i just have to take out the bulb or is it best to take the trip switch out? any helpful advice gratefully appreciated.

The wardrobe light is probably activated by a micro switch, so unless the sliding doors are made to operate the switch the light will remain on. It's best to disconnect the light if you can.
