What are the new (Gas safe) regulations about the minimum gap to leave around a free standing gas cooker ( 550 mm wide) witha high level grill , particularly distance from wall or cupboard either side ?

thw wall does,nt really count as its not combustible.
the cupboards at each side should be 20mm away but nobodies is inc. my own, as kitchen fitters rarely leave enough room
ps the 20mm applies at worktop level. there should be 610 mm clearance above the high level grill.
I am thinking of buying a new gas stove and hope these regulations only apply to new kitchens, as the gas cooker we have at present is a tight fit between our fitted kitchen cupboards.
