DRY EMULSION BLOB ON NEW WALLPAPER

Hi

Ive just noticed a blob of dry emulsion (about 2 weeks old) on my newly hung wall paper. Does anyone have any ideas how to get it off without ripping the wallpaper. I was thinking of wetting it, the paper is a washable vinyl and very hardwearing so i thought it might tolerate a damp cloth to wash of the emulsion......???? or maybe not.....

Does it show, or are you the only one likely to notice it? If your luck is like mine, anyu attempt to remove it will result in disaster, so if you can leave well alone, I would. Alternatively a quick pare with a scalpel might reduce it before you have a go with one of your ways....

Perhaps very careful use of a fine sandpaper, (e.g. Wickes finishing paper), might do the job.

Try using a steam stripper without the plate attatched, so in turn the steam will come out of the hose in a fine spray. Just give the blob of emulsion a few short blasts this will in turn soften the said blob and peel away
