Push Button Toilet - Constantly refilling
Hello. I have a push button toilet with a float chamber. The toilet drips/trickles from the cistern in to the bowl constantly. This causes the water level in the cistern to drop and so the water refills again from the supply. The water level is a good 3/4 inch from the overflow so it isn't over-filling. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong? Are there gaskets in there that could have worn out? Is it an easy fix?
Any help would be appreciated because I'm getting fed up of listening to the toilet refill at 3am!!
Many thanks

Unless you can identify which one you have...I think it will need to be replaced.
By the way... there are dozens of different makes.
Have a look in Screwfix...they have good prices....and make sure you get one that you can buy spares for.

Yes these fancy buttons with there flapper valves were suposed to save water full /half flush, like hell they do, what they are doing is making the manufactures a fortune and we are getting ripped off, plus the fact there's millions of gallons of water being wasted as it trickles down the toilet 24/7 and its the same in every home i go into, i remember the days when a toilet siphon lasted years with no problems
