Should AB have a general 'Items of Interest ' section.?

I feel sure that there are many ABers who sometimes have established something which they would wish to pass on to others, but don't really know the appropriate section into which it should be posted.
For instance. I am thinking (perhaps wrongly) that many registered ABers are still going through the format of having to 'sign-in' with a username and password on each occasion they wish to correspond etc. in the columns of AB; whereas, I just click a 'desktop' icon and go immediately to my 'Profile' page: without having to type a single word into my Browser.
I found that it was a simple matter to establish my set-up....Firstly, go through the normal procedures to open-up one's Profile page and then click and hold the small icon at the start of the page's address
...then slide and release it onto a blank section of your computer's screen. ( It may at first be necessary to reduce the page size to obtain a blank section on your desktop, but you will end up with a clickable icon which will take you straight to your personal page in AB.
