AGHHHHH getting it off my cest
2 Answers
I moved into a new home twelve months ago the main snag on my list was the poor quallity of the plaster work you could see every trowel mark. Several disscussions later the company decided to wallpaper the hallway and paper the ceilings in the down stairs rooms as these were the worst. This was going to take a week. Six weeks later the hall has been decorated no problems. But the ceilings have been a nightmare. After papering them they looked like a zebra crossing even after two coats of paint. After one week of whos fault it was they came and stripped and repapered them, different paper different supplyers and they still have a zebra effect not as bad as befor. Im now thinking it is a light reflect issue ( as I can not come up with anything else) and to top it all yesterday the decorator caught the feature paper on the main wall with his step ladders and now they are in the process of stripping that wall so we will be into week seven and we are living with no furniture as it has been stored whilst the work is going on AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I keep telling myself people are in worse situations, but I dont feel any better. Ok rant over

Its only when you live in it you notice them more. And yes that was one of the options but after paying for curtains and new furniture and decoration, for them to come in and start sanding and replastering noooooo. But on reflection Im beginning to think it would all be over by now. :-(
