MDF Cupboard

I painted an MDF cupboard with MDF paint last year but now it needs repainting as it looks a bit grubby. Do I need to use MDF paint again or can I just use Satin or Gloss paint? TIA

Once you have sealed MDF with the initial coat, ...providing you do your preparation for the new paint....you can then use satin or gloss.
