Bedroom Decor....

WE've been here a year now and although when we moved in the decor was clean and neutral (cream) I'm fed up with it now. I'm starting on the main bedroom, I've decided on duck-egg blue & silver grey, the main wall being wall-papered in a bold print of white daisy's silver follage and a D/egg Blue background, we'll have grey carpet. I'm getting rid of curtains & having blinds (DEB)
My hubby is giving me cart blanch here.
My question is what do you think of my colour scheme because my daughter thinks its comman & everyone is into Duck egg Blue.& thinks I should go for Blackberry -clovers- Vic plum with cream.
I haven't bought anything yet but will be shopping Wednesday.

Duck egg blue is very 'in' at the moment.....I have new duck egg cutains in my sitting room. As`it's your bedroom I wouldn't listen to anyone else's comments as it's very personal to you. My bedroom is black and silver white, it would probably give some people nightmares but I love it.....
