This is difficult without investigating properly. The footings may not be on a good enough bearing, or possibly, if you're in a clay area, it might have dried out, or if a lot of rain, the opposite ................ clay swells resulting in "clay heave".
Let's assume it's just settlement. Remedial work is pretty straightforward. The cracks are "stitched" ........... for a vertical crack, stainless steel helical bar is let into the masonry horizontally across the crack.
The usual thing is to monitor cracking over time. If it doesn't get too bad then stitching and/or re-inforced render can hold everything together.
The important thing is to establish cause FIRST ............... then take remedial action accordingly.
It really needs to be looked at if you've actually noticed the widening cracks. I wish I could help more, but you might need a professional eye cast over it.
