I saw one of these yesterday at the garden centre. I asked if it is perennial and I was told it was. When I got it home and looked up, it`s an annual. Anyway, I bought another one today because I think it`s one of the prettiest plants I`ve seen. All the flowers are different colours. Has anyone had one and how easy is it to look after. It`ll like the patio because it`s a sun trap but does it need lots of water?

No, it does not need a lot of water. They are drought tolerant plants so will love a hot,dry summer..

Hawkwalk that suits me just fine. I`m not here all the time and I have to have things that can stand not being watered. I`ve lost so much by trail and error over the years.
Carmalee I`ve got the mixed ones and on each plant I`ve got yellow/gold, fuschia pink and flame red. They`re gorgeous.
