chilin pepper plants
I dried some shop-bought chilis last year, and planted the seeds. The plants look great , and there are loads of fruit on them, but they're pretty well tasteless...no heat at all! Would I have done better to buy seeds?

Yes,Some plant's that are grown for produce to sell use F1 breeds that produce a realy strong or large fruit/flower etc, But they are not any good for using its seeds to grow new plants from. They are more geneticly made just for the one time putting all it's goodness and enegy into that years crop not it's seed.So I was told.
