Transplanting Honeysuckle

Have a load of that lovely scent in my back garden, the honeyssuckle is the length of the fence, about 25 feet.

Can I Transplant cuttings to my front garden or does it have to go into 'root powder' before hand or what. I've never had the pleasure of honeysuckle in my previous garden so am at a bit of a loss. Thank you.

I've read that you should peg a bit down to the ground where it will root from a leaf node (hopefully) after which you can sever it - like a strawberry runner. Never tried it though.

Will give that a try. (Am not the greenest fingered person) I thought it would be nice to have under the living-room windows in a few years.It's running rampant in the back garden which is a sun-trap so fingers crossed for the front.

Put stalk lengths with a node or heel cutting poked into soil of 'wet pot'. Strip any leaves leaving only 2 or none.

Wet pot is flower pot of soil that is constantly wet by standing in water.

I have found that there are usually several suckers complete with roots near the roots especially on an old plant.
