jelly crystals in plums
we have some lovely looking large blue plums that are just coming ripe, trouble is they have a lot of horrid stuff around the bottom of the stone that looks like clear or brownish jelly crystals, the rest of the plum is ok but this stuff puts us off eating them, what is it and can we prevent it happening again next year? advise please.
