Petrol hedge trimmer

Hi guys, single blade or double blade?? Any views.
Double blade is the most common in lower power machines...why single blade in the petrol powered?

I have a hedge trimmer that is double sided as I think this is best because after a while it gets heavy and I can change hands, also sometimes you have to go into some corners and it is best for this so go double sided
