I have this plant in my garden and I have no idea what it is. The bush/tree is about 5ft tall and the fruit/berries are 2-3cm across at their biggest. Any ideas?

If the stems are furry .. Actinidia variety.
Looking again, I suspect it has a tough bark stem/trunk .. so it would be Malus (crab apple)

LOL, no worries. At the risk of taking this thread even closer to the gutter...my fruit aren't hairy like a kiwi, they're smooth. They're also yellowy orange so not sure they can be kiwi fruit. A friend has a similar plant and was told it was a quince tree but that doesn't seem to add up either as the fruit on mine don't get any bigger than 3cm. Any more ideas?
could they be crab apples, if you look at this link, they look fairly similar http://www.hedging.co...og/product_10369.html
I didn't say Kiwi .. I said a member of the same family.
The only other tree like this would be a Malus variety... like 'Golden Hornet'
