Cornflowers
I had beautiful cornflowers in my garden but the wind blew them all down. I had to cut most of them back today and it truly broke my heart. they are such lovely flowers with a colour not seen in any other flower. Has anyone else lost theirs?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.We call them Bachelor Buttons here in the U.S. They're nice, but get unruly in that thy seed themselves every year. Amazing where they come up. Our varieties include blue and white. They come on about the first of June and flowers are seeded out by the first of July... sometimes a little later if we're dedicated to pinching spent blossoms.
