Unknown bush/shrub

We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

I think I will build a winter lounge where I can keep all Xmas decs up and only open it for Xmas!
We had a summer lounge and a winter lounge when we were kids but obviously we didn't keep the winter one decorated. It had a big fireplace and cosy chairs and the TV! The summer lounge was on first floor and was white leather modern furniture and a piano! We'd sneak up there with our boyfriends!

Morning...bright and sunny but frosty and froz. I've got to scuttle to Boots to collect an order...can't remember what I clicked, everyday is xmas with online shopping :)

I've been gardening again, some more "flowers" for the patio table, looks good, took 5 mins!
Very sunny and too hot to sit in the sun, but chilly out of it.

Hello all
It's been a nice bright day but soooo cold .Supposed to get a bit milder at the weekend although 7C round here is hardly mild.There was a sea surge yesterday but not much flooding thank goodness.
I've been wading through the pile of ironing my bro fetched me.Six more shirts and it's done .I've been at it since about half nine.I have to keep having a sit down ..lol.
I can't manage with that perching chair as I'm too tall for it and can't sit straight in front of the ironing board.
Oh well back to the coal face .....

Well that's enough for me today...despite the sunshine it was perishing out.
Had to psyche myself up and ring bt about renewing my bb contract....had to haggle last yr, the woman couldn't steer away from the script, and they still got it wrong. No haggling needed today, youngish woman took time to sort out a deal a few £s cheaper.
Spent all afternoon taking tree/decs down and offered the greenery back to the gods.. Can't understand why it took so long, I hadn't gone ott, but I've got a rotten 'smacked in the face' headache. Hope it isn't the lurgy a friend's just spent days in bed with.

I can't sit down to iron either and I prefer to dry my hair standing up. I don't know why.

I have been watching films to try to clear some space on the Sky hard drive. The Vikings on Tuesday, Ethel and Ernest yesterday, Hunger Games today. Well, Vikings versus Katniss Everdeen, who'd win.

It only took at most half an hour to undecorated my tree, but roommates decorating it! It is still standing forlorn innthe corner waiting to be put back in its box!
I can't iron sitting down but get awful backache, and never use a hairdryer, it's dries naturally thank heavens!
Just back from seeing the 3 kings, had quite a few wines and tapas! Had already made an onion, carrot, orange and coriander soup so we've eaten that and am in bed now. Big fiesta tomorrow and that is the official end of Xmas!!

I am watching comedies and american procedurals and fantasies. Still got the Last Dragonslayer saved and also Shakespeare in Love which I have seen before but love. Tis cold here. Tonight went to plan so we missed the fireworks (yay) should be going out early tomorrow to miss the bottlebank truck but its forecast well below zero and icy and wrapping us around a tree won’t help anybody so i am going to get up early, give the dogs a huge dose of meds and keep my fingers crossed.

Morning all
Mostly cloudy ,real feel -2C according to Accu ,which is is pretty accu.
I'm taking the tree and decorations down in a mo then I'm going to make a chicken and ham pie.That's the plan anyway,but if I don't shift myself the tree will still be up and it'll be beans on toast.

Morning all, very quiet here, the biggest fiesta of the the year. We've been out for chocolate and churros for breakfast but I found the chocolate too sickly so Mr N polished it off! All decs and tree have gone and lounge completely cleaned with not a drop of glitter anywhere. Cooking roast pork fillet with fruits of the forest sauce! I rather enjoyed myself last night!!

a good deal of sparkling still going on here though all the cards have gone. That glitter doesn't half get everywhere. It was the Fiesta of St Jno today so I have celebrated by lolling around and watching Inside Out.

It is nice to have the house back in order though! I still have the creche up as its Kings day but that will be shoved away sharpies tomorrow as dont want to tempt fate although my Alpine village is staying up as its wintry not xmassy!
