Tamarisk pruning
I have a Tamarisk tree about 8ft. tall ,now bent over under the weight of a Tangutica clematis, it was leaning a bit before so we put in a stake and hauled it up, however it seems determined to lean over the flower bed and lawn -nearly touching the ground!!
I don't want to spoil the Clematis now in full flower. Can you prune Tamarisk ? if so when and how severely, will it regrow as a more manageable bush?.
Any advice welcome.
