I trapped a mouse in my garden shed a few weeks ago. Have been putting rat and mouse poison in a dish and in a trap. The poison which I bought from Homebase see useless - at least 4 loads of poison have been devoured and they still come back for more!!

Any suggestions,

Thanks in advance,

They may be disappearing off and dying though- in which case it would be working
Sadly we had to resort to the old fashioned trap after all else failing, we baited these with chocolate and over two weeks caught 16 mice.
Taff, that happened to me. The man who sold the poison to me said the mice eventually dies after the poison takes its course in the rodents systems.
Hi all, the previous owners of our house planted their Christmas tree in the front garden, over 10yrs it is now enormous and needs pruning, is this possible and would it spoil the tree's shape. My husband wants to prune it with his chain saw, but I'm fighting against this.
Sorry this has appeared in the wrong section, senior moment
You need to poison mice effectively!! To be effective you need to put down a lot of poison in a lot of places, mice are sporadic feeders and will only nibble a little bit in each place, so unless there is a lot of poison in a lot of places your mice will just feed off it without taking a lethal dose. You will need to use a specific "mouse killer" and not a rat/mouse killer, they are useless. Rats are a walk in the park compared to mice, rats will kill off so easily but mice are very different.
