Moving An Ice Plant

Hello.Is it possible for me to move an ice plant while it is in flower or shall I wait till it is dying off ? Thankyou.

If you mean a sedum spectabile then if you take enough soil you can move them any time but after flowering is easier as you don't have to worry about snapping flower stems
Do you mean a sedum, the one the butterflies love? If you can't wait until the spring it would be better after it's finished flowering.

in the mean time break shoots off and shove them in a pot of cutting compost, it roots quite easily.
