I had some lovely fuschias (??spelling) this year will it be possible to keep them for next year. They were sold as bedding plants which leads me to believe that are for one year only but would love to keep some of them.
I keep mine in a frost free greenhouse over winter, most seem to survive, although my Firecracker doesn't like it in there.
Take some cuttings as well, then if the main plants die some of those may survive.
as frank says, they look very dead but come right back! You don't need a greenhouse though, just a sheltered overwintering! My grandmother and my mother always brought back the same plants by just not letting them be exposed without walls!
