Pruning cherry tree
6 Answers
I bought a sorry-looking bald twig for 2 in Woolworths last year which claimed it was a cherry tree. I planted it and it has really taken off with loads of new (very thin) branches all covered in leaves and we did get some blossom in the spring. The problem is the branches are very thin and all droop on to the ground. Should I prune some of them out so strengthen the rest and if so shich ones should I choose and when should I do it?
Thanks
