Planting In Pots

I am thinking of putting some of my late Husbands ashes in a plant pot.has any one done this and what sort of shrub/plant did they use , I am doing this so that when I move I can take the pot with me.thanks

My friend has done this. Her Mum and brother are in separate pots. One has an acer and the other has a fuchsia. She has moved house with them.

The idea of putting your loved ones remains in a pot is lovely but I know nothing about plants. My friend (who lives in Australia) came over recently and scattered her mums remains under a huge tree that can be seen from anywhere in the world on Google Earth satellite view.
