A friend of mine is going to Paris soon, lucky cow, and is wondering where the best place is to buy genuine Louis Vuitton (sp?) bags there. Can she buy tax-free at any stores? What about the airport? She is flying to/from CdG. Thanks!

The only place you can buy a genuine Louis Vuitton handbag from is a Louis Vuitton store or franchise.  If you see them anywhere else they are undoubtedly fake.

Also, she will not be able to buy tax free if she is travelling back to the UK or to another EU country.
