Garden/topsoil/turf Query
1 Answers
I have cleared my overgrown front garden this weekend, it was overgrown with wild grass and weeds as well as a few hardy plants that keep on growing back year on year, I have cleared it back down to soil, hacked all the plants to below soil level (couldnt get the roots up) and I am now deciding what to do with it.
My idea is to lay down weed control fabric to hopefully stop anything underneith from growing back, lay an inch or two of top soil and then turf it.
Can any gardeners on here tell me whether this is a good idea or not?
Thanks in advance.

There are probably far more cowboys selling turf than there are reputable growers. Make sure that you buy from a TGA member:
