Chillies.

Iv'e grown various types of chillies this year, but one type ( patio fire ) has given me a lot of chillies but they're white in colour and taste of nothing.
Am I being too eager, or will they change colour and give me something hot to the taste later on ?.

Thanks Buenchico. I'm quite new to gardening and I should slow down and realise it's a marathon not a sprint. So I'll wait and see what Sept/Oct, brings. Thanks again.
Wait until the end of the season and they should ripen up... then it's just a case of drying them out and storing them until needed.
Seems like we are having more sucess this year ... well done.

This year it is my turn to have tomato problems ..

Morning al, I am sorry to hear about your toms but I think with your experience you'll sort it out, anything I could say would only be repeating what you told me last year.
The reason I asked my question is because my other chilli plants have fruit on them and although they are small they're green and have some mild heat, where as my "patio fire" chillies are white and are about as hot as a cucumber. I'll leave another post at the end of the season hopefully with a large bag full of HOT chillies.
