Hi!

I've been asked by a friend to work out if this is suitable for their garden:

https://www.gardenlines.co.uk/shop/lawn-mowers/robomow-rx12u-robotic-mower

They have quite a steeply banked lawn leading down to a canal, and want to be sure that the mower would manage it!

Any ideas?

According to the advert it can cope with gradients up to 36%.

Sorry to sound particularly thick now - but how would I go about working out the actual gradient?

I wouldn't think it was more than 20% to be honest, but they had visions of it going for a swim...
Dodger is right re the gradient - it's reviewed here with a few more for comparison.

How to calculate the angle:-

http://www.calcunation.com/calculator/slope-percent-conversion.php

A slope of of 36% is 19.8%
That should read 19.8 degrees
just put it on its highest setting, and see how it goes, adjust accordingly
