Wow, that certainly is great value, although 425 bulbs is 400 too many for my back!
Thank you Tilly - that's a great deal and I have ordered them!
Question Author
I'm going to share them with a friend.

Then, I'm going to put mine in pots and move them around the garden as and when.
I will give some to a friend too. But I'll probably plant in the ground - we took all out bulbs out while we 'refreshed' a rather tired garden so we have some gaps among the perennials that can be filled.

Mr T is terrible for digging up bulbs and not putting them back. He has no patience with them and sticks them in a bucket with the weeds!

My bulbs are safer in their own pots. :-)
I'm a bit guilty of that myself :-(

Toorak, do you know if I can just use ordinary soil in my pots? Filling pots with John Innes No.2 is going to cost a lot of money.

If they grow in ordinary soil in the ground, they sould be ok with soil in a pot, do you think?
I'm no expert but I would have thought so - they tend to grow well in the ground. I don't think they need compost.
Mind you the RHS suggests using compost:

Maybe the key thing is to make sure that the pots can drain well so that the bulbs don't get mushy

Thanks for that link, Toorak. Those pots look stunning!

I suppose I could do a mixture of loam based compost and soil and see how it goes.

Just a bump in case anyone needs any bulbs for summer flowering.
Oh my Lord; how many days' work is that ? And do you need both your neighbours' gardens too ?
Question Author
I think some of them are really little bulbs, OG.
Great value thanks for sharing
