Spuds are in. Dahlias tubers are potted up. Begonia corms are in trays and already sprouting ready to pot up. Strawberries are in and going well. Blackcurrants are going well. Hydrangeas were trimmed off a few weeks ago and have been treated with sulphates to give deeper coloured blooms. Gazanias and Fuchsias potted on but still under cover. Trays of Lobelia and Mesembryanthemum on the go on heater pads. Ready to take down the bird feeder and sort out the veg patch. All the pots and tubs are emptied and compost, gardeners sand, Hoss muck & perlite on site ready to start again. Patio is tidied up and ready for the annual coat of cleaner. Lawn has been mowed twice. I have "told she who must be obeyed" that she can have a rest tomorrow. (^_*) We have also put in Lupins, and a few new Perennials, Camelia and other shrubs that took our fancy. Which meant moving others. We are ready to rumble.
Just a thought Geezer.... bit late to be pruning roses. You may be getting rid of this years flowers, ours are up and running.
