I have lots of alium and peonies in the garden. Are they suitable for cutting and bringing indoors, and if they are when should they be cut?

No expert, but I reckon that you should cut them when they're in bloom.
won't last long indoors and will need wiring..I'd leave them in garden

Thanks Geezer and Minty. When in full bloom they are really beautiful. I think I will leave well alone!
I find peonies last well indoors and smell wonderful. Why would you wire them?
