How To Fill Small Holes On A Tarmac Drive ??
10 Answers
Can anyone please recommend something I could use to repair my drive??
When the weather was really hot, I fit some CCTV cameras around the house and my ladders have spikes on them. The hot weather made the tarmac a bit softer than usual, resulting in my ladders sinking into the tarmac, making holes all over the place ..... needless to say the missus isn't happy !!
The holes aren't that big ..... approx 1" wide, 1/2" across and 1/2" deep .... so no extensive damage .... it's just that there's probably 20+ of them.
Any recommendations please??

I would start by standing a large pan of very hot water over a hole for a while, then gently pat it with a flat object to see if you can close the hole up. Perhaps start with the one least in view to experiment.

Giving me ideas now, so I think I'll try that first before spending any dosh :)
I've got a bag of pebble dashing somewhere, with some very small pebbles/stones, so I think I'll fill the holes not quite to the top then try and see if I can get the surrounding tarmac to cover the hole.
Have a BA for giving me food for thought :)
