Wormeries

How much kitchen waste do I put in a wormery and how often? I've looked on Wiggly Wigglers website, which is helpful, but it doesn't say how much or how often. Also should I be able to see any worms if I take the lid off and what do I do if I can't?

If you can't see any worms, they may have gone down to the next level. take the top level off and have a look.

as to how much to feed them, it's a question of looking to see how much they can consume. We tend to accumulate kitchen waste and take it to them every three days or so. if there's a lot left, you've overfed them. if it's all gone, increase the quantity/frequency. They eat more when it's warmer.
