This year my lawn has been over run by daisies, buttercups the odd dandelion and numerous other flat leafy weeds. It is mowed and fed regularily and even the supposidly ( fantastic weed & feed ) used .
Is there a really effective weed killer out there that works without harming what`s left of my lawn grass ?

I have had exactly ythe same difficulty with my lawn this year, I am assuming it is because of the lack of rain we have had? I am concerned that the weeds will take over. Help!
mmm, annoying isn't it? the weeds with their deeper stronger roots will always win during dry spells. Give your lawns a special autumn feed which will strengthen the roots - best not to use weed & feed at this time of year, wait until the spring for that.
Robina's correct, but I just leave them, gives the garden a sort of meadowy look, magic.
yes Lonnie I live with my buttercups & clover too but about twice a yr I go round with a knife & cut out the dandies..... I don't have many daisies, I wish I did.
Try putting salt on the weed, this will kill it and you can control were you put it, and is cheap!
