Green tomatoes - avoiding blight
0 Answers
Are you picking green unripened tomatoes to ripen indoors and are worried about blight developing and rotting them? Have just seen this tip which might help save the remainder of your crop.
Give the fruit from affected plants a quick wash in a sterilizer (like Milton or baby bottle sterilizer) before leaving them to ripen indoors, if you want to use yours as ripe red tomatoes.
Has anybody tried this and does it work?
