Modern Christmas tree?

I am looking for a very specific type of tree- something a bit different. The image i have in my head is like a five foot tree with no leaves on. One that looks like a dead tree basically but white or cream? And NOT one of those really tacky fibre optic ones. Any ideas where i could find one like this?

Hi there, The image conjured up in my mind is last years dead tree sprayed white, either that or a deciduous conifer (none evergreen) like a larch. Hope you find whats in your mind. Tbird+

B&Q did something like this last year....but smaller...or was it Homebase? Have definately seen something like you describe in one of these shops!

My friend did this a few years ago she had a real tree and left it at the back of the garage all year until all the leaves had died off she painted it white and sprinkled it with glitter and had plain white lights on it but outside her house. So the real tree again was left to die at the back of the garage with the painted one ready for next. Christmas Unfortunately her over zealous gardener thought the white one had gone mouldy and thought he was doing her a favour and shredded them both She was not happy
