Following on from another thread, where can I buy a chilli plant or grow my own? Would I just plant the seeds in a little pot? Thanks

It's the wrong time of year to start growing a chilli, unless you have a heated greenhouse.

Plant a single seed in each pot late February onwards, then transfer to greenhouse border when too big for the pot (April).

I have grown them outside, but they need a really hot, sunny border. Better and faster growth when greenhouse grown. And apparently, the less you water them the hotter the chilli.
