UPVC front door - fitting a roller bind

I am trying to assist an elderly lady who has a UPVC front door with a glazed panel. She has become frightened at night because of seeing shadows, e.g. moving trees, through the frosted panel. A roller blind for use at night would help. Can one be fitted to this type of UPVC door and are special fittings needed. Bryan

Shouldn't be a problem. I've got roller blinds on my back and conservatory doors. Just make sure that any screw holes are well away from where the glass sealed units end (normally indicated by the beading).

Hi magistrate,

I fitted a net curtain to mine.

I used a length of white plastic conduit screwed to the door with appropriate conduit clips. My wife made the curtains to length with a hem that slides over the conduit. People laugh when I tell them what it is but nearly everyone admires it and have copied my idea.
