What eats snailes WITHOUT breaking their shells?
We're getting our snail problem under control in the garden. Well, to be honest, something else is doing it for us!! We're starting to find many MANY empty snail shells around. There are a few with broken (or completely smashed) shells which we know are the work of thrushes, but most are intact. We'd love to know who to thanks - we do have frogs, toads and hedgehogs and heaven knows what else. SO, the question is: WHAT EATS SNAILS WITHOUT BREAKING THEIR SHELLS? Thanks Phil G
