Please, please, please can anybody tell me of a product that will kill the dreaded bindweed, without rendering the ground unplantable for years to come. Thank you in advance.
A good brush on weed killer like Glyphosate would do it, I've found that the best way to get rid of Bindweed, (a tip I got from Kew Gdns some years ago), is to train it up a cane, and when its above your other plants, paint the Glyphosate on the leaves that are clear.
It may look a bit unsightly for a while, but its worth it.
