Jerusalem Artichokes

Do Jerusalem Artichokes need to be earthed up like potatoes? I'm growing them for the first time this year and not sure if I should just leave them or treat them like potatoes - the leaf shoots are currently about 6 inches high. Thanks for any advice.

No you shouldn't have to do this. That is presuming that you're not trying to grow them in lazybeds like potatoes.
