London 'car bomb'?

Why on earth would you get a curtain sided vehicle to pick up the car and then open the side up and invite the press to have a good gander? Why didn't the clear the street properly? How did they get away in London, come on it's like the Trueman show up there? What i think happened. It sounds like four people were on their way to plant a bomb and no one had told the driver it was going to be a suicide bomb, so he panicked,crashed the car and did a runner. There was a gas canister at the back of the car, so someone had got out the back, they would have put the can on the seat next to them but the other person in the back had already dumped his on the back seat. Also the bomb squad didn't even clear the street of sleeping people before defusing the 'bomb', there was nothing to defuse it was going to be set off at it's destination by the bombers. Anyone want a �1 on it?

now will all the do gooders of this country who want the radical muslims roaming free hold up their hands and be counted?and before you all come on here and say 'how do you know it was muslims?'of course it was they were probably freed a couple of months ago amid all the cries of the human rights brigade.there is another atrocity on the cards and its well done to the police and security services but im afraid they wont be able to stop every single attempt.

Firstly, I am not saying it was radical Muslims, but I am also not saying it wasn't. Personally, I would like to know facts before I spout of my opinions - but stokeace since you are so convinced it was Muslims, how about if you are wrong, you donate �50 to charity (this is not a bet since I am remaining open on this - just a dare. You love to spout of your opinions - how about putting your money where your mouth is).

Secondly, I don't think there is anyone on this site who wants Muslims who are a threat to this country to be roaming the streets.

What I would like is for all Muslims to be treated as any other person in this country is treated - ie charged with a crime, given a trial and found guilty or not guilty.

We don't charge white males with paedophilia just because the majority of paedophiles happen to be white males. We give all people (forgetting trial by media for a minute) a fair trial. If the police can't prove that a crime has been committed then obviously people should be released - unless of course stokeace you would like to be banged up since you fit the profiel of a kiddy fiddler!

Ok..here`s what really happened...man and wife were on their way to a camping trip, he took the wrong turning because she had the map upside down, they ended up driving through central london and after one too many "dozy cow" comments, she snapped and caught him good and proper on the jaw with a backhander causing him to crash.

She then went to the boot to get her bag and had to lift a gas bottle out first.

Yes, remember the last time they reported about al-Qaeda links - oh yes that was the 9-11 bombings. Personally, I love living in this country and I love this country. Maybe if you would like people to be held indefinitely with no charges brought, maybe you should consider emigrating - I understand that most of the middle eastern countries have laws that you would quite like! ;-)

Should all teenagers between 13-17 be locked up since that is the profile for happy slapping attacks? How about all men locked up as most rapists are male? There has never been any CCTV release of the 7/7 bombers on the day. The photo which was widely circulated was from their 'dummy run' the week before.

Muslims should be treat the same as any other person in this country.
They shouldnt be given privilages, or be given special exceptions, etc...
