Is there anyway of getting rid of the roots that ivy leaves behind where it has been clinging to the wall? We've tried wire brushes but they have no effect, would be interested to hear any suggestions

Thanks

We have had the same problem. You have to wait for it to dry out and go brown & this takes quite a few months. Even then it is not easy stuff to get off. Try using a jet wash on it . The longer you leave it to dry out, the easier it will be and don't throw the wire brush in the bin just jet!
