Green tomato,s dropping

Has anyone had a problem of nice green tomato,s dropping off the vines, abt a 1/2 inch from the tomato theirs a little buldge on the vine, they are dropping off there, the edge is perfectly flat, so it,s not being chewed off, 4 to 5 a day, for the last 3 days, now i love green fried tomato,s, but don,t think i can keep up with this,
