Cuttings propagated in tap water
2 Answers
I have successfully propagated cuttings from margarita daisies, phygelius, penstemons and ivies, just by placing the a young shoot in a jar of water in the greenhouse over winter. After rooting they were successfully potted on and transferred to the garden.
Are there any more common garden plants that I could apply this method to? Sadly, it doesnt work for my mint crisp honeysuckle.
