Flowers that don't attract bees
Are there any flowers that I can plant in my garden which wont attract bees and such like?
I know it sounds stupid but I was stung 2 years ago and ended up in hospital and found out I am allergic to being stung, so I don't really want it to happen again lol.
Thanks

Many flowers have a long, tubular design that bees don't bother wit, though they do attract hummingbirds. Additionally, lobelias and penstemon as are all decorative grasses. Many red colored flowers don't attract bees, since they don't sense red color,as long as they have little or no scent.

Thanks, landscaper2... I've been a bee keeper for a long time... I didn't know about hostas not being a bee attractant, since I have several that I was really sure that I've seen bees on. However, the ones that I looked up were exclusively variants with lots of varigated leaves. These, apparently, have short lived flowers that do not attract honeybees. Other than that i had been aware that bees don't "see" red colors and that many red flowers are practically scent free.
