Sorry bigmamma I used to have this nightmare with a cricketing husband and son with 'whites' and never seemed to get the marks out completely and yet other superwomen didn't appear to have that problem and their husbands/partners/sons' whites were as white as white game after game. Therfore I'm not the one to help tho' others will.
Have a lovely day it's beautiful here! xx
You read my mind.
Try Sprinkling sugar on the damped stain, roll them up and leave them for an hour then wash as normal (or)
Vanish works well if you got a bar.
Or try putting a spot of washing liquid on and rubbing it in.
Let me know if the sugar thing works.
Its from H's book of tricks.

Morning christine hun , not too bad thank you , that awful pain has gone , just waiting now til Friday to get it out ;-)
Not in the post knobby , he set off back to you a few months ago .....
Morning bigmamma - I usually manage with Vanish but you say it hasn't worked so don't know what else to suggest. Stain Devils do a grass stain remover but it's not something you would normally keep in a cupboard.
How are you today - still enjoying the sunshine?
Question Author
Hi bensmum honey , I could give Vanish another try plus the sugar and see if I can find Stain Devils if that doesn't work as I hopefully don't need it again if I remember to stay off wet grass !

Hi BM,

If you can't get it out with Vanish or any other stain remover you might have to take it to the dry cleaners. It will cost but they should be able to get the stain out. xxx

Question Author
Yay , I put sugar , seemed strange but I did it , and Vanish on the staining before washing and , whether it was due to that or due to the fact it was a repeated wash , the stains are no longer there . Thank you to each one of you :-) xxxxx
