Geraniums - Too leafy
My garden geraniums look healthy enough but there are lots of leaves and very few flowers. The flowers that do bother to grow take their time about it! What can I do to reverse the trend, please? Thanks for any help.

There are 3 sets of numbers on the packet, for instance 20 10 10. Each set means how strong it is in an individual area. So the first number may mean good for roots, the second number good for foliage and the 3rd set good for flowers (sorry, cant remember which is which)The garden centre will know. If you wanted to feed carrots say, you would pick one high in the root growing number, but if you wanted to grow a good cabbage you would pick one high in foliage number etc, hope this is making sense......good luck
Are they in pots or in the ground ?
Geraniums like the sun and we haven't had a lot of it lately They don't like to be waterlogged either .I feed mine with Tomorite tomato food once a week and keep them on the dry side ,but they are in pots ,and they are lovely .
