what is the normal size of a blackberry? we picked on last night out of our back yard and it is huge! i fills up my 5 yr old daughters hand. wondering if this is the normal size or not

Here in the U.S., the average size of a good ripe blackberry (the fruit) will be about the size of a man's thumb. I've seen, however, two and sometimes, three fruits that have merged together as they matured. These can be quite large, sometimes as much as 2 inches or so in diameter...
