flower arraning?

i want to order some flowers to be delivered for my mums birthday coming up but have no idea what to ask for? she doesnt do tacky flowers if you no what i mean and prefers gentle flowers such as lillies, roses etc

all the florists sites have pictures for you to choose from. even the big supermarkets have flowers to order from their websites, and are a bit more reasonable.

yea but you dont no what your gettin when you order offline. when you order from a florist at least you can explain what you actually want

Phone the local florist and tell them what you want but they can deliver what they want however as sara3 says, ordering over over the internet means you SEE what you're ordering so you do know what you're getting. I use florajet but don't know if this is available in UK. I have never been disappointed.

interflora is a washout, Jersey Flowers have always offered a good for value for money for me.

Why not get some arrangement that she can plant in her garden later, say a basket of polyanthus or something similar so that your gift lasts a lot longer and brings her pleasure.
Or a tub or basket already potted up with bulbs or a small shrub.

My sister-in-law has been going through chemotherapy and we've been sending her flowers from Tesco on line. We've sent loads and they've all been beautiful.

I 've bought off the M&S website and been very pleased.. If you go online they have pictures... and they come in vases, and different types of containers...and delivery is fast...

I agree with katerich you can't beat M&S flowers. I have just received the autumn bouquet for my birthday and it was beautiful. I have also sent the Rose and Lily which was very well received in perfect condition. Delivery is free if over �30 or �3.50 if under. Keep away from Next flowers as I have had very poor quality even the replacement flowers after I complained weren't much better.
