Good flowering plants for hangng baskets?
Hi,
Just bought 2 bargain hanging baskets from Homebase- reduced from 9.99 each to 50p as the flowering plants in them had finished flowering. The foliage- variagated ivy, a small conifer, and a couple of other green leaved plants are all fine.
I'm planning to take out the finished plants, and replace them, but i'm humming and haa'ing about what i can put in to replace them for some colour.
Any ideas? Pref something that tumbles over a little, and will flower this winter..
TIA.

A heather is nice throughout winter, pansies (as hawkwalk says) but you could add something like baubles strung onto wire for a Christmasy scene. I added artificial frosted berries and holly in mine a couple of years ago, they must have looked good cos' my baskets got stolen!
